Terms and Conditions
Our methods of charging are based on each project, taking into account timescales to research, create unique, relevant content and subsequent proofreading and editing by us. In this way, you can be confident that the price remains the same. Factors that may alter the cost include the following, but there will be no surprises, we report any additional charges well before time and discuss with you.
We prefer payment via BACS.
What is included in the project price is as follows:
- Initial consultation and advice
- Research, including meta tags and headings, keywords and key phrases
- First draft
- Maximum of two drafts
- Final proofread and minor amendments
We can discuss additional requests to the existing project not covered in the original spec and quote separately for substantial changes in project scope.
For all new clients, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit before commencing a project with the final 50% payable within seven days of completion. Unpaid invoices will be subject to the usual debt recovery formalities, i.e. seven-day letter and remedies via the county court and debt recovery agencies. These processes incur additional costs.
Cancelled projects are subject to a charge on a pro-rata basis and a fee charged for the proportion of the whole on the contract that is complete.
We remain at all times independent from our client, we are not an employee, partner, agent or worker of the client, and we will never perceive ourselves in this way. Our involvement with you, our client, is limited only to our mutual interest in the project at hand.
Before commencement, we ask that you read these terms and conditions, confirm in an email that you are happy to proceed and that you agree to our fees.
Timescales and deadlines
We make every effort to stick to agreed timelines and deadlines. If in the unlikely event that we foresee a delay, we will contact you to let you know immediately.
While we do our utmost not to cause any unnecessary holdups, we are not liable for any loss or damage to any party because of missing a deadline.
All work completed by Tracy Jennifer remains the property of Tracy Jennifer until sign off and payment by the client. At this time, all copyright automatically transfers to you the client. Unless stated explicitly in an NDA, we reserve the right to use excerpts of a project for our portfolio.
Errors & Omissions
While we make every effort to ensure a project is accurate grammatically and factually by extensive proofreading, we make no guarantees that a project will be exempt from factual, typographical or grammatical errors.
By using our services, you agree to indemnify us against any claim, including that of a third party, for any issues, claims for compensation or damages resulting from the use of our written material or from unsought permissions to use content produced by Tracy Jennifer.
Each piece of written content we produce for clients is original, and we make every effort to avoid any inaccuracies including but not limited to errors, misrepresentations or omissions.
However, the client accepts full responsibility for checking authenticity and accurateness of the project, including research materials and quotes supplied. Final responsibility belongs to the client agrees to indemnify us of any claims for compensation, for loss or damages caused by any published content.
